HOW I WATCHED NANBAN 7 TIMES!!!

NANBAN 1: JAN 12 2012 8:10 AM Thursday
There is great expectation for the movie and the movie has won the most expected movie for the year 2012. But I was sad the day before that I could not watch the movie FDFS as my "WORK FOCUSED TL" will not find me good when I come to office at 1 PM. But the news that he is gonna be in leave on 12th Jan came as the most sweetest news of the year. But that was the day before release . I have not booked any tickets. I took my mobile went to BMS , an application of ANDROID (THANKS TO ANDROID AND SAMSUNG),came to know that AGS has opened for booking only the day before the release. Finally I booked the tickets for two people,8 15 morning FDFS, not knowing whom I have to accompany. I called most of my friends. Knowing Vijay reputation for acting and redoing the amir's work , nobody came forward to accompany me. Atlast one of my best friend and my brother PRAVEEN accepted my offer ,even though he is inbetween hectic work of getting into TCS.The day came , 12th Jan , I had kept an alarm for 5 30 . I couldnt sleep , got up at 4 30 and called PRAVEEN and we rode to AGS and reached at 7 10 itself. Nobody was there , we are the first people to get the tickets . The ticket seller worshipped the ticket and gave to me as it was the first ticket of the day.I was feeling sad that no crackers and sound and dance as they usually do for a Vijay movie in my native. We entered the theatre, from 7 30 to 8 15 it slowly got completely filled.The movie was awesome and a hat trick blockbuster for Vijay.

NANBAN 2: JAN 15 2012 2:30 PM Sunday
I came to my native place on Jan 13 for my birthday . Thought of seeing for second time on Jan 14. I praised about the movie to all my family members and my relatives , they were eager to watch the movie . I came to theatre at jan 14 ,1 o clock and waited near the gate along with 50 people who were eager to watch the movie . Once the gate opened we ran and rushed to form the line , I have to get 7 tickets , there comes the bombing news . The police man who secures the theatre for the day said only one ticket for a person . After waiting for one and a half hours ,I came to home saying I didn't get tickets .So my family and relatives said that they ll see after a week or two.But I and my cousins planned for jan 15th afternoon show. We reached the theatre at 10 and again waited with the queue. At last all tickets were sold before we reach the counter . I was in peak of disappointment and anger . We started for Cauvery theatre and there was another large queue. But my cousin went around and got a person who sells ticket illegally and we bought a 80 Rs ticket for 150 and saw the movie.

NANBAN 3: JAN 17 2012 10:00 PM Tuesday
My friend karthik wanted to see the movie on jan 17 th , night show , As the movie is awesome , I also accompanied him . I really did my work faster than I usually do and left the day soon at 7 pm . I reached the theatre at 9 30 and the show is at 10 PM.They came slowly at 9 50. We chatted about the latest cinemas for a long time.We watched the movie for third time .Movie ended at 1 30 PM.While driving I felt the coldest wind blowing . I could not drive my bike , the teeth were clattering , the blood froze at every part of the body . Thank God no police man stopped me for license or RC or Insurance .

Nanban 4: JAN 21 2012 6:10 PM Saturday
Friday night Jan 20 , My friends were browsing the internet and my friend Ganapathy was thinking of going to Nsanban and I said it was a good movie and I booked the tickets for me and two of my roommates the next day 6 10 PM. The day came and we had only single bike with us. We planned to go triples like "VIJAY, JEEVA and SRIKKANTH " go for the exam in Nanban movie . Viswanath is a very good person , got down from the bike and walked for a distance wherever we found the traffic police . We reached the theatre , my friends went to eat and I went to buy tickets. I was also hungry abd asked them to buy me a biscuit packet . when I was entering into theatre , the security check was made and they seized the only eatable-the biscuit packet I had and left me hungry. I was not in mood to buy anything inside theatre as it ll abort my purse.I watched the movie keeping my hand in my stomach.Movie ended at 9 30 , not in a mood to ask the person to return the biscuit. This time Ganapathy walked till the barricade from the theatre as we thought the police would be there. I took Vichu till the barricade and made a u-turn to bring Ganapathy . But at last the u-turn did not lead to the original path for 5 minutes . By the time I reached the barricade ,both of my friends were already there and my ride got wasted. Again the triples journey started and we reached home without being caught by the police.

Nanban 5: JAN 22 2012 10:30 AM Sunday
This is a very special experience. All my office colleagues had planned to watch nanban together on sunday jan 22. I knew that they will not book , when I am not with them . For sunday, booking starts on wednesday . So on wednesday of that week I came to office at 8 30 itself and found them not booked , various reasons they told like 'net is not working properly, nobody to pay , don't know who are all coming'etc. I opened the BMS and booked for 5 people in SATHYAM where I wished to see nanban atleast once .After sometime even my team member unix prodigy Shanmugam also accepted to come , so a separate ticket was also booked for him. I really felt sad when 'some' people refused to come to cinema. The day came and I started for the theatre at 9 AM ,the show is at 10 30 AM. The greatest tragedy happened when I was confused with the route. I took the turn to guindy instead of saidapet, went to kathiparra bridge , again asked people and auto drivers the route and then got the route to saidapet and then reached teynapet and royapet . I then asked the route to satyam to an auto driver. He was not in good mood at that time . He said "u cant go this way , go the opposite way and if u ride your bike and go u ll be caught by traffic police ,walk to bike parking or go around 1 km by bike and now leave way for me". I got frightened and got down from my bike and pushed my bike to SATHYAM bike parking. Within my driving time I got 15 missed calls from Karthik and Durga. Karthik was restless as he reached 30 min early. SATHYAM was one of the beautiful, for the theatre and the girls who come there. I thought I would not remain single for even a month , if I come to SATHYAM often. The movie started and there was a huge laughter for most of the scenes . I was happy that a guy in the movie had my TL name and I shouted my TL name when the guy came.Vijay also proved that he is Dr.Vijay in the delivery scene. Not only that a Dr, he is an Engineer,a Scientist and a Teacher in the movie.The movie ended and it was afternoon 1 PM. I asked everybody to have lunch together.But majority preferred food at home. I asked karthik for lunch in his home , but he said that it will not be enough for himself , so at last I was eating in the hotel alone.

Nanban 6: JAN 26 2012 6:00 PM Thursday
I went to my native on Jan 26. I thought of taking my parents to the Nanban movie. As it was a huge rush for the second time. I went to rambha theatre at 12 o clock in morning and they said that afternoon tickets were sold and asked me to come at 4 for the evening tickets .I came to theatre at 3 30 and the theater gate was closed and waited till 4 PM near the gate. I prayed to God that this time the ticket seller should not say that 1 ticket for 1 person. Thank God I got 3 tickets. My father said that he got little work , so take some other person . I persuaded him a lot and atlast he got ready and my mom too got ready . The usual quarrel between mom and dad started whenever they start to go out . I managed everything and reached the theatre on time. The movie started and my parents enjoyed the movie.I shouted for Vijay and for many good scenes. My father poked me to stop whenever I shouted.My father told this movie has many messages and I thought of the 'irukkanaa illeana' song and the last kissing scene.

Nanban 7: Jan 29 2012 6:40 AM Sunday
I have a KOLAVERI FAN of Vijay , Kumar in my office . He had already seen the movie for 4 times and he wanted to see the movie in SATHYAM for the fifth time. He asked me to book and we booked for the Sunday Morning 6 40 as I had CAT classes in the afternoon. I started at 5 30 AM Sunday morning . The road was dark and I just drove in the sleepy state. There was a new barricade in the velachery road, I thought it was just to restrict four wheelers and drove into it and after five minutes I was before a road roller coming towards me and my bike was in the new wet tar on the road . The road layers started to shout on me . I was fully awaken by that time and quickly took a U-turn and took the wrong side and left the place. I was waiting that KOLAVERI FAN and he came just 5 min before the movie and we rushed to the theatre. Vijay looked young and most of the time ,KUMAR was commenting about Surya and Ajith and praising about Vijay. The theatre was completely full even on 6 40 AM in the morning for the show. The movie ended at 10 and we departed happily.

I have not seen any movie seven times in theatres till now with such a seven different experiences . Thanks for everybody who were part of the experiences.
